Is DoctorVi free for patients?
Yes. Browsing, asking questions, opening treatment requests and chatting with verified clinics are all free for patients. Clinics pay to be listed and to respond.
Do you give medical advice?
No. DoctorVi is an information and matching platform. Treatment decisions, diagnoses, prescriptions and surgical procedures must come from a qualified physician after a personal consultation. See our Medical Notice.
How do you verify doctors and clinics?
We check identity, current medical license, clinic operating permission, professional liability insurance, the registered address, and known sanctions. Full method on the Verification page. The green "Verified" badge is shown only when all checks pass.
What happens to my treatment request?
When you publish an open request, qualified clinics see it and can send offers. Your direct contact details are not shared with a clinic until you accept its offer or actively start a chat. You can withdraw a request at any time.
What happens to my health data?
Health data is processed on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 9 GDPR / KVKK Art. 6). It is stored encrypted, only on EU infrastructure, and shared with a clinic only when you contact that clinic. See the Privacy Policy.
Can I leave a review?
Yes — and we publish both positive and critical reviews, provided the experience is genuine and the content does not break our community rules. The clinic is notified and may reply. We do not remove reviews on commercial request.
What if I have a serious complaint about a clinic?
Write to [email protected]. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours. While the case is open, the clinic profile may be temporarily suspended.
Can I delete my account?
Yes — from your account settings. Personal data is removed in line with our retention policy and is not recoverable from production systems after deletion.
How much does a hair transplant cost in Turkey through DoctorVi?
A 3,000-graft FUE hair transplant in Turkey costs €2,150–€3,180 all-inclusive at verified clinics in 2026 (median €2,650). Verified Premium clinics charge €2,800–€4,800.
Are the doctors on DoctorVi licensed?
Yes. Every doctor profile requires Turkish medical license verification, specialty board certification, diploma photo upload, and a publicly verifiable LinkedIn URL.
Is the video consultation really free with no obligation?
Yes. The 20-minute video call is free with no obligation to book treatment. Patients use it to evaluate the doctor, ask questions, and decide whether to proceed — there is no follow-up sales pressure.
Does DoctorVi take a commission on treatments?
No. Zero commission on treatments. Patients pay clinics directly — DoctorVi never sees the transaction. Revenue comes from clinic SaaS subscriptions and Pro doctor profile features.
Can I trust patient experience reports on DoctorVi?
All patient reports are verified by the editorial team — photo verification plus 12-month outcome confirmation. They reflect individual patient experiences and may not be representative; individual results vary.
