Terms of Service
These terms apply when you, as a patient or visitor, use DoctorVi. Clinics and partners are bound by separate B2B terms.
Updated: 2026-04-27
The platform
DoctorVi is operated by UDY Digital, Rissenerstr. 42, 22880 Wedel, Germany(the "Operator"). The platform allows patients to discover verified clinics and doctors, publish treatment requests, request video meetings, and read or write experience reports.
The Operator is an information and matching intermediary. It does not provide medical services and is not a contracting party to any treatment that may result from contact made via the platform.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to register and use DoctorVi. Patients under 18 must be represented by a parent or legal guardian.
Using the platform
By using DoctorVi you agree to:
- Provide accurate information when creating an account or treatment request.
- Use the platform only for lawful purposes and personal, non-commercial use as a patient.
- Not impersonate others, post hateful, fraudulent, or misleading content, or harass clinics or other users.
- Read our community guidelines and the medical notice before submitting health-related content.
Treatment requests & clinic offers
When you publish an open treatment request, qualified clinics on the platform may read it and send offers. The Operator does not warrant that any specific clinic will respond, nor does it endorse any individual clinic. You decide which offer to accept and may at any time stop the conversation.
Reviews and experience reports
Reviews must reflect your authentic personal experience. They may not contain fabricated facts, defamatory statements or content infringing third-party rights. The Operator may moderate, hide or remove reviews that violate these terms or applicable law.
By posting content you grant the Operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and store that content on DoctorVi for the purpose of operating the platform.
Fees
Use of DoctorVi is free for patients. The Operator earns revenue from partner clinics. We do not take commission from any treatment fee paid by you to a clinic.
No medical advice. Liability
DoctorVi is an information platform; the content shown — including AI-assisted replies — is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. See the Medical Notice for the full disclaimer.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator accepts no liability for damages resulting from treatment decisions or interactions between patients and clinics. Liability for intent and gross negligence and statutory product-liability remains unaffected.
Account suspension & termination
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. The Operator may suspend or terminate accounts that materially violate these terms or pose a risk to patients or clinics. Decisions that restrict your account, content visibility or monetisation receive a statement of reasons under Art. 17 DSA.
Reporting illegal or harmful content (DSA)
As an online platform under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act), UDY Digital provides:
- Notice-and-Action (Art. 16 DSA): any person can notify illegal content via [email protected]. A valid notice should describe the content, its location (URL), why it is illegal, and contact data of the notifier.
- Statement of reasons (Art. 17 DSA): when content is removed, demoted or made invisible, or when an account is suspended, we provide written reasons identifying the legal basis.
- Internal complaints (Art. 20 DSA): users affected by a moderation decision can lodge a complaint within six months; decisions are reviewed by qualified staff and answered within a reasonable period — usually 14 days.
- Out-of-court dispute settlement (Art. 21 DSA):unresolved disputes can be brought before a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body. We will publish the list of certified bodies in the EU member state of the user upon request.
